Following the “first time in living memory” controversy after Minety won their own Seven-a-Side tournament at the end of last season, Ken Wright writes:
I’ve just been reading through the archives again and went for a rummage in the garage where I found evidence of Minety winning their sevens in 1979. I do still have the individual shield handed to each member of the winning team. I don’t remember who we beat or what the score was, does anybody else remember it? Regards, Ken Wright.
