Andrew Hibbard’s 1st XV travel to Warminster for their third match of the 2019 / 2020 season in Division 1. Having enjoyed a close away win at Trowbridge and then suffered a narrow loss at home to Marlborough last weekend, new coach James Irvine’s team will be looking to get back on the winning track against a Warminster side who have scored 74 points and conceded just 20 in defeating Marlborough and Melksham so far. Carrying forward a points penalty, presumably picked up at the end of last season, Warminster now find themselves in 5th place in the fledgling table, one place below Minety.
There are no fixtures in Division 3 for the 2nd XV so all attention turns to the Warminster fixture and the 1st XV.
On an administrative note, Minety’s 2nd XV’s concession to Warminster last weekend now means that the return fixture on 11th January will now be at Warminster and not at Minety
