A Happy New Year from Minety RFC!
We had a great turn-out on Saturday. Lots of players made themselves available, including many of our students, home for the vacation. With over 40 players to choose from, we were able to field two strong sides.
The Minety 1st XV put in a fine first half against league leaders Chippenham seconds, but faded in the second half and in the end were well beaten.
The 2nd XV, however, got back to winning ways, seeing off a powerful Devizes third team 13-nil.

This Saturday, both our senior teams are away. The firsts travel to Bath to take on Combe Down, while the seconds visit Melksham thirds. Kick-offs at 2.15 pm.
