A mixed day for Minety on Saturday…
The firsts won away at Cricklade but the seconds were heavilly defeated away against their counterparts at Westbury.
The lazy Press Officer was AWOL again and missed both games, but thanks to help from club coach Huw Jones, there is now a short report on the Cricklade game in the Match Reports section.
There are still few details of what the Dreamers did or didn’t get up to down at Westbury, but Steve Murray has passed on the details he’s got and these now form the basis of an ultra-brief posting in the Match Reports section.
This Saturday, Minety firsts travel to play league leaders Melksham while the seconds take a weekend off.
Meanwhile, don’t forget…
* See The Iron Age for further details of a fund-raising effort in memory of the late John Lewis involving a bike ride from London to Paris to raise money for the British Lung Foundation.
* The online Minety RFC Club Shop is now open for business. To visit the shop, go to the Club Shop link in the menu list on the right of the screen. Place your order online and the items will be delivered to your door. Please note that all orders are processed once a month, irrespective of when the orders were placed.
* Tickets are still (just!) available for the Minety RFC 40th Anniversary Summer Ball. Click on the menu link for details, but don’t leave it too long now.
