The proposed friendly against Irish club Normans RFC has been cancelled as they were unable to raise a side. The warm-up to the season now looks like this…
Thursday 25 August: Wootton Bassett v Minety – Friendly at Wootton Bassett RFC – kick off 7.00 pm
Saturday 3 September: Gosford All Blacks v Minety – Friendly at Gosford All Blacks RFC – kick off 3.00 pm
We will be taking a 23-man squad to the Gosford game and hiring a bus to get us there. There should be plenty of room on the bus for spectators too. Contact Jack Ward (07827 291929) to book a seat on the bus and for further information.
The bus will stop off at Minety on the way back, and then go on into Malmesbury for its final stop. Malmesbury Festival should be in full swing, and the lads are planning to make a night of it…
