So… Minety seconds won’t now be playing in the final of the Stroud Combination Junior Cup on Sunday after all.
It seems that we fielded an ineligible player and that as a result we’ve been disqualified, and fined £30 to boot.
Boo-hoo!
But never mind, there’s still the annual Minety Invitation Seven-a-Side Tournament to look forward to on Saturday 8 May. Make sure that you’re there to play or watch. It should be a great day.
And don’t forget the AGM on Wednesday 12 May and the Annual Dinner on Friday 14 May. Our guest speaker at the dinner is England and Leicester legend Dusty Hare and tickets are available from Andy Ward, price £40.
