Minety 1st XV ended a remarkable season in Dorset and Wilts Division 1 North with a remarkable team performance and a remarkable result to inflict champions Combe Down’s 2nd, and biggest, league defeat of the season yesterday at Minety Fields. The 29-20 win guarantees the team 4th place in the league, only missing out on a top three position by points scored over the season.
