Minety seconds struggled away against powerful opposition.
Having lent a string of able players to the firsts, Minety seconds found themselves considerably outgunned by their opponents at Devizes. Struggling for possession, they stuck to their task but could not stop the home side from scoring at regular intervals.
Dogged tackling prevented a worse defeat, but Minety will hope for a stronger side this Saturday as they play hosts to Colerne in the final game before Christmas.
